About Jared Allen’s Home for Wounded Warriors

A former NFL defensive end, Allen grew up with tremendous respect for his family’s commitment to service in our Armed Forces. In March 2009, Jared took part in a USO tour to Iraq, and it changed his life forever. Humbled by the dedication, commitment, and sacrifices our men and women make every day to protect our freedom, he knew he had to return to the States and give back in a big way. Jared Allen’s Homes for Wounded Warriors was born to provide functional homes and give a sense of security and independence to wounded veterans and their families. Since its inception in 2009, Jared has changed the lives of 9 severely injured heroes with the support of skilled carpenters and construction workers, many of whom are veterans themselves.

“We have a deep appreciation for the Military community, and the opportunity to partner with Jared and his organization is a wonderful way for Ariat to give back and say ‘thank you’,” said Susan Alcala, vice president of partnership marketing, Ariat International, Inc. “Through our mutual partnership with the Professional Bull Riders we look forward to working together in a much bigger capacity in support of our veterans.”

“I have been a long-time fan of Ariat and am honored that we are partnering together,” said Jared Allen. “Ariat’s support will help us further our mission to serve those who have served us.”
