Replacement of products or shoe parts+

How can I purchase replacement laces?

We currently produce replacement laces for select products only. These are available through select local Ariat retailers. If you are unable to find our laces please visit www.heelingtouch.com for a wide selection of generic laces.Do you have replacement insoles? Ariat currently offers a limited selection of replacement insoles for purchase. This will include the following technology collections: Quantum, Cobalt XR, Cobalt VX, as well as ATS. If you are not sure of the type of insole you are in need of, please contact our customer service team at 1-800-899-8141.

International+

Can my order be delivered internationally?

Today, Ariat ships internationally to select countries though our partnership with Borderfree. To access the International country selector, or for a list of available shipping countries and shopping currencies, click on the upper right-hand corner of the website to select your flag and currency. Once a country is selected, product prices will appear in the local currency and order totals will be populated to include international shipping costs.

We do not ship directly from the USA to some countries. If you are trying to ship to a country that is not displayed in the options provided, please refer to the contact information for our distributors and partners, located here

What is Borderfree?

Borderfree is a groundbreaking global ecommerce solution that allows us to present our international shoppers with product prices in the currency of their choice, aggressive international shipping costs, and the lowest possible guaranteed order total. The Borderfree solution allows us to serve the best possible shopping experience to our international customers, so you can always buy from us with certainty.

How will I know how much my order will cost?

Just add items to your basket and proceed to check out. Borderfree calculates and displays the order total in your preferred currency, including all shipping costs from our warehouse(s) in the United States to your selected international destination, as well as any applicable duties and taxes imposed by the customs and revenue authorities in the destination country.

Are there any additional costs that will be due upon receipt of my order?

As long as you select to prepay duties and taxes, the order total presented at checkout is the exact amount you’ll be billed by Borderfree, and there will be no additional costs due upon delivery.

What currencies does Borderfree support?

Currently, Borderfree supports billing in over 60 global currencies, with more being added on an ongoing basis. Click our context chooser, located in the top right of the top navigation, and select from a list of our supported currencies. Once you confirm your preferences, you will be able to see products priced in your selected currency.

I live in the United States. Can I use Borderfree to ship an order internationally but pay in US dollars (USD)?

Yes, Borderfree supports international gift-giving, in that you can receive a guaranteed order total for an order that is shipping internationally, but pay in USD using a US credit card. This also works if you’re an American traveling or living abroad.

What payment options does Borderfree support?

Currently, Borderfree supports Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, American Express, JCB, and China UnionPay, with additional payment options coming soon. Please note that Free-Of-Charge coupons will not work for international orders.

What are my international shipping options?

The following is a summary of delivery promises for our international orders. You will be quoted a specific delivery promise at the time of checkout that is based on your selected destination country and the shipping methods available for the items in your shopping cart.

How much does international shipping cost?

International shipping is calculated based on a number of factors including the desired shipping speed, the number of items you are purchasing, the weight of the items, and the destination country. International shipping will be calculated and guaranteed during the Borderfree international checkout based on the items you are purchasing and your shipping destination.

When am I billed?

Your credit card will be billed by Borderfree when your items leave the United States.

How much duty and taxes are charged on international orders?

Duties (or customs tariffs) are set by the destination country customs authorities and determined based on a combination of the country of origin (manufacturing) of the goods being purchased and the classification of that merchandise in accordance with a harmonized system adopted and used by the countries that Borderfree supports. International taxes (such as Value Added Tax, or VAT) are set by the destination country. You will be able to view the guaranteed total amount of applicable duty and tax/VAT for your order within the Borderfree international checkout.

Are there any items that cannot ship to my country because they are restricted?

If for some reason there are any items that cannot be exported from the United States or imported into your destination country selection, you will be notified, when attempting to add the product to your cart.

Do you ship to US military addresses (APO/FPO)?

We currently do not ship to APO, FPO, or DPO.

How can I track my international order?

What will my credit card statement say?

Your credit card will be billed by Borderfree and your credit card statement will read "BF*ARIAT" where "BF" denotes the Borderfree network.

Who should I contact if I have questions relating to my order after I have made a purchase?

Can I purchase or redeem international gift cards?

Unfortunately, we do not currently support the sale of gift cards to international customers or the redemption of gift cards for internationally-shipped orders.

What is your return policy for international orders?

We do not, at this time, accept returns on International orders with the following exceptions: If any apply, please contact us at InternationalOrders@ariat.com and we will provide you with further instructions on where returns should be shipped and the amount you will be refunded.

  1. If the item is defective and/or under warranty.
  2. In the case of a shipping error: wrong size, wrong style, etc.
  3. EU consumers have the ability to return unworn products within 14 days of receipt, as regulated by the European Union Consumer Rights Directive. Consumers must contact Ariat within 14 days of receipt to notify Ariat that of the return. Goods must be unworn and shipped back to Ariat during this 14 day window. Consumers are responsible for the costs of return the products to Ariat, including duties.

How will I be refunded?

Refund amounts for returned items will be credited to you by our partner, Borderfree, in the same currency and using the same exchange rate as your original order. Consumer is responsible for all costs associated with the return shipping.

For International orders of products not purchased on Ariat.com, what is the process for return/repair/exchange?

How can I tell if my boots fit properly?

Pull out the footbed and place your foot from heel to toe on the footbed. If you place your thumb at the toe area and it fits comfortably, this should ensure a proper fit, allowing enough slippage in the heel.

How do I fit Western Lacer Boots?

Put the boot on, but leave it unlaced. As you push your toes forward, you should feel some room behind your heel. If not, the boot is too small and you should go up half a size. Center your foot in the boot and lace it up snugly but not too tightly. The toe area should feel roomy, and your toes should have room to breathe. Lace up the boots and keep in mind that you can adjust the tightness of the laces at any time- you may have to adjust to get the fit you want. Expect a small amount of movement (lift) in the heel as you walk, because a boot that fits properly should flex as you walk, and your heel should lift a little, but not too much. New boots will have a stiffer sole. As you break in the boot, the sole will flex to a comfortable level and most slippage should stop. If the boot is too loose in the instep, either adjust the laces or try a half a size smaller.

How do I fit English Paddock Boots?

When you slide your foot into a boot, use either boot pulls to pull it on while sitting, or stand up in to the boots. A well-fitting boot should fit your heel snugly. New boots will have a stiffer sole. As you break in the boot, the sole will flex to a comfortable level and most slippage should stop.

How Do I measure for children's boots?

When fitting for children's boots, you should have at least a "thumb's width" or 1/2 inch of growing room in the toe. Don't buy a boot that is more than 3/4 inch too long or the child may trip over the extra length while running. Ariat's removable "Booster Bed" is affixed under the footbed and can be removed as necessary to provide a little more "wiggle room" for growing feet to extend the life of the boots.

Boot Care+

How do I care for my Ariat boots?

Proper care of your boots and shoes is one of the best things you can do to prolong the life of your favorite Ariat boots. We recommend the Cadillac and Kiwi brands. Please note, however, that some leather care products may alter the color of the leather and will smooth the nap of a nubuck or distressed leather. We recommend that you test a small portion of your boot, i.e. the inner ankle area, before spraying your entire boot. Can I waterproof my boots?

You may, enhance the level of water resistance in your boots with waterproofing sprays offered by Kiwi or Scotchsguard brands. Please review the product instructions before application. We would recommend that you test the spray on a small portion of your boot, like the inner ankle area, before spraying your entire boot as some of these products may alter the color of the leather and will smooth the nap of a nubuck or distressed leather.

How do I know if a website is selling legitamate Ariat product?

No body is more passionate about making sure that your Ariat is the real deal than we are. To make sure you are recieve legitimate Ariat product shop on Ariat.com or click here to find an authorized retailer. If you are unsure if someone is an authorized retailer call our Customer Service team at 1-800-899-8141 and they will be able to help.

I bought a counterfeit product or did not get any product after my card was charged, What do I do?

We suggest starting with the company you made the purchase from. In the event they are not wiling to work with you, we suggest reporting all fraud charges to your bank. You can also notify the Better Business Bureau. For future Ariat purchases, shop ariat.com or click here to find an authorized retailer.

How do I submit my idea to Ariat?

Have an idea for a product, design, or technology that you think Ariat should provide? Before reviewing any idea submissions from outside sources, Ariat requires a signed Idea Submission Policy Agreement. This Agreement is designed to avoid any confusion or misunderstanding about the source of ideas for new products, or about the terms by which Ariat agrees to review idea submissions. For example, if an idea is submitted from one outside source, the idea may already have been developed by our internal design team, or submitted by another outside source. Please review the Idea Submission Procedures, and fill out the following Submission Policy Agreement. Submissions without this agreement will be returned to the sender.

Does Ariat make custom boots?

Unfortunately we do not offer custom-made boots at this time. We are also unable to modify styles.

What is a seasonal item?

Our winter boots, jackets and sandals are examples of seasonal items. We also manufacture limited edition styles which are considered "seasonal." These styles often re-appear with slight variations.

Why are our boots made off shore?

We currently manufacture our product in several countries. All of our manufacturing facilities are held to the highest standards to ensure the utmost in quality.

Can't find a product on the website?

All of the products in the current season's line are shown here on our website, but you will not see past-season footwear. If you can't find something on the site, try using the Search, starting with a specific name or term. If the Search does not return the right match (or any at all), it could be that we do not make that product, or that it is not available for the season. If you find a product on the site, please visit one of our retailer partners. Please note, not all stores carry all products, so we advise you call first. To locate a dealer in your area, search by zip code or state in our Retail Locator.

Typographical Errors

In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error or error in pricing or product information received from our suppliers, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. We shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, we shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the charge.
